There are a lot of businesses and individuals blogging about the cloud. I thought I’d put together a list of some of the top rated cloud bloggers. Please let me know if you agree, disagree or have some other cloud bloggers to throw into the mix.

Lori MacVittie is a Senior Technical Marketing Manager, responsible for education and evangelism across F5’s entire product suite.

Prior to joining F5, MacVittie was an award-winning technology editor at Network Computing Magazine. She holds a B.S. in Information and Computing Science from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University.

She is the author of XAML in a Nutshell and a co-author of The Cloud Security Rules

Thoughts Following Structure: Europe Presentation

Following yesterday’s presentation at Structure: Europe where I presented on, ‘Why ‘Cloudwashing’ Must Stop’, here’s what a few influential people thought:

GigaOm’s Barb Darrow, has picked up on my presentation in her article ‘Why cloud washing is evil or at least annoying and potentially harmful’.

‘Lucas, the founder of Flexiant a cloud orchestration vendor, founder says traditional hosting companies and service providers are doing themselves harm by offering the same services they have for a decade or more, but advertising them as ”cloud” offerings.’

Rational Survivability by Chris Hoff @Beaker

Chris Hoff has 20 years of experience in high-profile global roles in network and information security architecture, engineering, operations, product management and marketing with a passion for virtualization and all things Cloud. Hoff is currently a Sr. Director and Security Architect at Juniper Networks.
