Who is it for?

The Service Provider Edition is designed with larger service providers in mind, especially those with multiple brands or countries in which they operate.  It is customisable and flexible enough to be integrated into any existing service provider’s existing technology and business model.

The Service Provider edition is a complete end-to-end software solution managing everything from virtual machines to customers and credit cards, all you need to get your cloud solution up and running in no time.

Extility is also built on a modular basis, and can easily integrate into your existing customer portal, billing and metering systems if required.

Deployment

The Service Provider edition is by its nature a bespoke item, and is therefore deployed by the Flexiant team. The process could not be more simple. We work with you to define a specification, to include both standard and bespoke ( if required) elements. Once signed off by both you and Flexiant, we go to work against a clear project plan. Typically, once you have made the specified hardware available, we would anticipate a full deployment taking between three and ten days, at which point you can start earning cloud dollars!

Pricing

We have two simple options: pay as you go, and banked core months.

Pay as you go

This model is a monthly charge, based upon the number of physical CPU cores deployed across the Extility estate. The basic charge is £10 per CPU core, per month. However, there are three additional elements that make up the fee structure: the volume of committed cores, the length of the contract and the associated minimum fees. There is also an associated install fee, which depends upon the amount of customisation required and the number of deployments taken. These will be built into a custom “package” for you.

Banked core months

If you have strategic intent and want to maximize your margins, this is probably for you. You make a one-off upfront payment for a number of banked core-months (each core-month being the ability to deploy our software on a single CPU core for a month), and draw down your core months as and when you require them. For instance, if you purchased 10,000 core months, and deployed on 200 cores in the first month, and 500 in the second, then at the end of the second month you would have 9,300 cores left in your ‘bank’. When your banked core months approach zero, you purchase more core months from us. Your core months never expire, so you can use them across as long a time period as you like, ensuring your expenditure is never wasted. Substantial discounts are available through this scheme, and installation costs for a single deployment are generally included.
