Nexenta Stor Support

NexentaStor™ is a fully featured NAS/SAN software platform with capabilities that meet and even exceed the capabilities of legacy storage systems.

I think that doesn’t really cover it. The simple truth is that Nexenta unlocks the power that is ZFS in way that is easy to use. At Flexiant, we have always been huge fans of ZFS, which is the key storage technology in Nexenta Stor. So the opportunity to integrate Nexenta Stor into Extility was too good to miss.

Extility 1.5 (which we’ve just launched) has built in support for Nexenta Stor. This extends the range of storage architectures we support, but also makes it very easy to use cheap, traditional dumb or legacy storage and still be able to deliver all the storage capabilities a cloud platform like Extility needs in terms of agile and adaptable use of disks, images, snapshots etc.

Nexenta Stor is available in a Community and Enterprise Edition.  A free trial of the Enterprise Edition is available.
